Jim Morris Engineering Manager
Jim has been with Speedline for 14 years and currently serves as Engineering Manager for the wave solder and cleaning products. His particular areas of interest are the advancement of Soldering and Cleaning process through equipment technologies. Some of Jim's current achievement in the lead-free soldering area includes advanced nozzle technology, flux application technology, Tin corrosion expertise, dross removal/reduction techniques, and thermal heating systems.
Prior to Speedline, Jim worked at Hubbell, Inc. in various roles that included; design engineer, compliance engineering supervisor for hazardous location products, and engineering manager of the Wiegmann electrical enclosure division. Jim holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Univerity of Mo. - Rolla and a Masters in Business Administration from Webster Univ. St. Louis, Mo.
Jim holds a variety of patents relating to wave solder equipment/processes and credited for authoring/presenting award winning papers and articles.
