Tom Prentice Senior Engineer, Advanced Development
Tom Prentice is a senior engineer working in Speedline's Advanced Development Group for the Dispensing division. His particular areas of interest include systems engineering, precision motion control and the "fuzzy front-end" associated with developing leading edge technologies. He has been with Speedline Technologies (previously Camelot Systems) since 1994, and in that time has been instrumental in developing many of Speedline's dispensing systems and associated options. Prior to that he was with Teledyne TAC, where he helped develop back-end automation equipment, such as high-speed wafer probers. His 27 years of experience in the industry help to make him a key contributor, both to the development team and to Speedline's extensive IP portfolio. Tom has a BSEE from Merrimack College, has written many technical papers and has been awarded 18 U.S. patents.
