David Prince Sr. Machine Vision Engineer
Dave Prince has 27 years machine control design experience beginning with high-speed web handling equipment that is utilized worldwide by paper, plastic, textile, converting and non woven industries. He has also developed industrial furnace controls, some with output in millions of BTUs, as well as software to control the heat treatment, cooling, coil-forming, and power-and-free conveyor sections of a large steel rolling mill. Dave joined MPM Corporation … now Speedline Technologies … in 1990 and has continued to refine and expand his knowledge of process control involving key elements of electronics assembly. He has also developed a considerable level of expertise in the field of optics, machine vision, and AOI, and has been awarded several related and important patents. Dave is a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers as well as SME's Association for Electronics Manufacturing and Machine Vision Association. His current capacity at Speedline Technologies is as Senior Engineer, Advanced Development, specializing in Machine Vision and Inspection.
Dave has a B.S. in Communications from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.
