Vatsal Shah Process Engineer
Vatsal is a process engineer at Speedline Technologies Advanced Process Group (APG). His primary responsibilities include designing, executing and documenting formal experiments and studies that quantifies the critical parameters for the printing process. His expertise includes Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and use of various statistical software's such as Minitab, JMP and Excel. Vatsal is a key individual in serving APG's internal and external customers. His current focus is in developing Pb-free assembly process for 01005 component, starting from stencil design to reflow soldering.
He holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from State University of New York at Binghamton with a special focus in electronics manufacturing and electronics packaging. At SUNY Binghamton, Vatsal's research focus was on Electronics Packaging, Design & Material Science, MEMS packaging and Electrical Circuits. He has hands on experience on non-destructive testing tools such as, X-ray imaging, Optical Microscopes and destructive testing like Cross-sectioning/Polishing samples for Failure Analysis.
